Floodies: Homeboyz edges Nakuru to reach semis

Homeboyz edged Nakuru 37-30 in an Impala Floodlit quarterfinal match staged at Impala Grounds on Saturday afternoon.
Duncan Abuyeka gave the Nakuru based side a lead through a penalty. He however squandered the chance to double the lead from the tee.
Homeboyz debutant Joseph Amalemba would score at the other end and Ervin Asena’s added the extras to lead 7-3. Asena’s penalty pushed the Deejays to 10 points.
Abuyeka converted Chrispin Onyango try to tie the scores. Isogol landed the second try for Homeboyz and a conversion by Asena ensured a 17-13 at halftime.
In the final half, Asena scored two penalties and converted  tries from Isogol and Mohammed Omollo.
For Nakuru who were trying make a make a comeback they scored through Paul Lusesi, John Mbugua and Churchil Ooko.
The Deejays will tackle the winner of the Mwamba-KCB match.
