KRU unveils broadcast deal worth 35 Million

Kenya Rugby Union have entered a five-year partnership with Bamba Sports which will the local rugby matches return on the screens.
The deal worth 35 Million shillings per year will see the Bamba air the Kenya Cup, Enterprise, National 7s Circuit, Safari 7s, International friendlies, and Women Rugby games.
“KRU and Bamba Sports have officially launched a 5-year Partnership Deal worth 35 Million Kenya Shillings per year and growing at 10% per annum, reads a statement by KRU.


“Radio Africa Group and OfficialKRU have officially launched a Ksh 35m per year broadcasting deal for the next 5 years. Radio Africa through Bamba Sport will air the Rugby leagues, national 7s circuit, international friendlies, women’s rugby and under 17s,” reads a stament by Bamba


The last time the Kenya Cup matches and National 7s Circuit matches were aired on TV was in 2016/17 season where Zuku was the broadcaster.
