Kenya Cup side Kenya Harlequins have appointed Charles Cardovillis as the club’s head coach ahead of the 15s campaign that gets underway with the Impala Floodlit tournament this weekend.
Cardovillis is not new to the club having held the position of Director of Rugby until 2017 when he left for Kakamega’s Kabras Sugar, helping the sugarmillers win their first ever National Sevens Circuit crown.
Cardo as he is popularly known left Kabras in May and he replaces Joel Ng’ang’a who decamped the Ngong Road based club.
Quins who had advertised for the position of head coach have been under the tutelage of Victor Sudi and Joash Odhalo.
We'd officially like to welcome back our prodigal son @charliecardo who'd taken a short trek across the country. Charles Cardovillis was named and confirmed as Head Coach of the Mighty Quins!

Cardo will be hoping to turn around the club’s fortunes as they aim at improving on their playoffs exit during the 2018 Kenya Cup campaign.
