Kenya 7s squad for Africa Sevens

Outgoing Kenya 7s coach Innocent Simiyu has named a 12-man squad that is set to compete at the Africa Sevens tournament slated for 13-14 October in Tunisia.
Mwamba’s Eliakim Kichoi and Daniel Taabu have been picked for the trip while Homeboyz has produced Charles Owino, Leonard Mugaisi, Alvin Otieno, Michael Wanjala.
On Board
Herman Humwa, Cyprian Kuto, Derrick Keyoga, Brian Wahinya, Benjamin Marshal and Nakuru’s Gramwel Bunyasi will also be on board for the trip.
This will be the final assignment for Innocent Simiyu who has led the side for two seasons.
Shujaa who are seeded top at the two-day tournament make a return to the continental showpiece after a one-year absence having missed out on last year’s edition held in Kampala,Uganda.
The side is in a three-team pool A where they will face Botswana at 1:00pm and Morocco at 4:40pm.
