Strathmore boss lists players who impressed in the 7s Circuit

Strathmore boss John Mbai has heaped praise on his charges after the conclusion of the National 7s circuit.
The side did not have the best run as compared to the 2017. The Students amassed 31 points 19 less than what they managed in the 2017 season.
Nice words
Despite the inconsistent run in the just concluded 7s, the tactician could not downplay the role played by the whole team, putting in nice words for them.
“Different players put up their hands in different legs. And I believe that every player did a  different thing that is above the normal.” Mbai told Scrummage.
Mbai further acknowledged the individual brilliance of players such as Richard Omido, Matoka Matoka and Gideon Makumi. He commended new players for easily fitting into the team.

“I will commend Richard Omido his first year at club rugby and there is Matoka Matoka who is also in his first year. These are players who finished high school last year and they have learned and adapted to the harsh reality quick.”
“Opal (Lucas) had some flash of brilliance, there is Makumi, Oduk, (Edmond)Anya and many more. I believe every player impressed.”
Leos are currently in camp preparing for the Kenya Cup season.
