Speaking after the win, Omondi who won the Most Valuable Player award after bagging a brace in the clash said that they must improve on their tackling to avoid conceding more penalties in the round matches.
He is confident that he will retain the MVP award in the next match and has vowed to work to achieve his target. Commenting on their win he said,
“TUK were worthy opponents and I am excited with the win, we shall have to improve on our tackling since we conceded a lot of penalties,” he said after the match.
“I believe I will retain the MVP award next weekend since I put a lot of hard work in training” he added.
The second-round matches will be hosted by the CUEA before heading to Kenyatta Grounds for the final round of the matches.
