Varsity league lands kit sponsorship

KUSA Varsity League has unveiled Samurai Sportswear Limited as their kit sponsor for the tournament set to kick off on Saturday 29 September at UON Grounds.
The deal will see Samurai provide a full kit to the eight participants in the League which is set to end in October. Samurai will join Homeboyz entertainment and Fidelity Insurance who are also sponsors in the league.
KUSA Varsity League organizer Aggrey Chabeda is delighted to have the three on board and believes they are a big boost, as they continue nurturing talents in the Universities.
“We would like to thank Samurai for kitting the teams as well as Homeboys entertainment and Fidelity who are other sponsors.  The idea is to nurture Varsity players as they prepare to join clubs,” he said.
The teams are expected to have the full kits starting from next week. The league will get underway on Saturday morning with Catholic Monks taking the Technical University of Kenya in a 10 am kick off. The second match will kick off at 12 PM where Egerton Wasps will take on TUK.
Mean Machine will be in action at 2 PM against UoE Trojans before paving way for the final match of the day which will see Thika road based sides Blak Blad and JKUAT face off at 4 PM.
The second round of matches will be at the Catholic University while Kenyatta University will host the final round of the group stages matches.
All the roads will lead to Nakuru for the semifinals on October 20 before making a return to Nairobi for the finals seven days later.
