TUK outwits Kirinyaga in a preseason tie

The Technical University of Kenya warmed up for the upcoming Kenya Universities Sports Association (KUSA) Rugby 15s games with a 12-3 win over Kirinyaga University.
TUK’s opening try was scored by Kurtis Mutisya but the side failed to add the extras. They would land the second try through Romeo Ochieng and Ben Jura added the extras to hand the side a win.
The Nairobi based side now shifts focus on the University league where they have been grouped alongside Mean Machines, Catholic Monks, UoE Trojans.  They will kick off their campaign with a clash against Catholic University.
Matchday two will see the side tackle  Mean Machine before taking on UoE in the final clash of the group stages. The Tournament will kick off on 29 September at the University of Nairobi Grounds while the second round of matches will be at the Catholic University.

Kenyatta University will host the final round of the group stages matches. All the roads will lead to Nakuru for the semifinals on October 20 before making a return to Nairobi for the finals seven days later.
