Miathene rugby youngster stabbed to death

Miathene High School are mourning the demise of their 2017/18 skipper Kenneth Mugambi who has passed on due to excessive bleeding following stabs by gangsters.
According to the Miathene Rugby official portal, the player went to respond to calls by his younger brother who had been attacked by robbers.

On arrival, there was a scuffle and Mugambi was stabbed in the throat and in the hands and died due to the bleeding that occurred thereafter.
“We are pained to learn the sudden demise of our 2017/2018 Rugby captain Kenneth Mugambi who played as winger. “A gang of thieves tried to rob his younger brother who then contacted Ken his elder brother. In the process, a fight was witnessed which led to one of the robbers stabbing Our captain in the throat and in the hands as he was defending himself.And lost his life due to excessive bleeding. Gone but never forgotten. Courageous captain, ” reads a statement by Miathene.
