Russian Champions replaces Uganda Pirates in Christie 7s

Russian Side Narvskaya Zastava Rugby Club has replaced Uganda Pirates in the Christie 7s tournament set for Saturday and Sunday at RFUEA Grounds.
The Ugandan 7s Champions were set to take part in the two-day event but have withdrawn. Hosts Kenya Harlequin have announced their slot will be taken by the Russian side which has won Russian Cup and they are the reigning St Peters Champions.
“PiratesrugbyUG Withdraw from #Christie7s and are replaced by the Russian side Narvskaya Zastava Rugby Club who are the current Russian Cup Champions, current St Petersburg Champions who will be competing in the Russian Premier League in October,” read a statement by Quins.

They join pool A that has Mwamba RFC, Kabras RFC and Mean Machine
