Seje 'honoured' by Kenya Simbas recall, eyeing World Cup

Impala Saracens Centre Leo Seje Owade feels good to be back in Kenya Simbas squad that will be preparing for the Repechage tournament and has set his sights on helping the side achieve its targets.
Having missed out on the Africa Gold Cup campaign, Seje was recalled to the 33 man squad that kicked off its sessions on Monday.
The former Maseno School star has termed his call up as an honour having been away nursing injury and his plan is to be part of the final squad that will be taking part in the three-week tournament.
“Its an honour to be in the 33-man squad representing the country in the repechage which is a second chance to Japan 2019. Coming from a long term injury it feels good to be given another opportunity and am looking forward to  do my best and help Kenya Simbas achieve one goal that we have as a team,” he told Impala Saracens media.
The return of seje will be a boost for coach Ian Snook who has been relying on Darwin Mukidza and Peter Kilonzo for midfield duties.
Seje has previously played for Australian outfit Melbourne Rebels.
