Homeboyz head coach Paul Murunga has hinted at including some fresh legs in his squad that will travel to Kisumu for the fifth leg of National 7s Series.
The side heads to Dala 7s seeking to win the tournament for the third time in a row after 2016 and 2017 success. With a big number of players having been present in the opening four legs, Murunga believes having fresh players will increase their chances of reaching the finals.
Pau has also revealed that they will be working to polish their moves before the tournament to avoid upsets.
“We will have to polish our moves. Most of the players have played like four legs and heading to Dala 7s we will look at having fresh crops players that have the energy to push to the finals or even win Dala 7s,” he told Scrummage.
The side is in pool D alongside Nondies, hosts Kisumu and promoted MKU Thika. The Deejays will be hoping to extend their stay at the top spot of the 2018 Standings as the play in Kisumu.
The side picked 15 points in Mombasa following their fourth-place finish adding to 66 points that they picked in the opening three legs.
