Pau speaks on Homeboyz display in Mombasa

Despite missing out on finals at the Driftwood 7s, Homeboyz head coach Paul Murunga has termed the leg as one of the best and he feels that they dropped out due normal lapses.
The side finished fourth in the event after a 36-21 loss to Mwamba in semis and 14-7 loss in the third place playoffs.
Murunga who has led the side to three straight main cup triumph this season revealed that they fell short of the target  set heading to Mombasa, but he is happy they made it to the last four.
“Driftwood has been one of the best outing. We didnt get maximum points as we really wanted but getting into semifinal is a good performance because not many team make it to this stage,” Murunga told Scrummage.
Concerning their loss to Mwamba, Murunga says he will be keen to fix the flaws that cost them a place in the final before Kisumu outing.
“There were normaly lapses in the game against Mwamba but we will go back to the drawing board to fix that,” he added.
Homeboyz will be keen on defending the Dala 7s title which they managed to win last season. They are top with 81 points after four rounds.
