Safari 7s dates revealed; Ireland, Wales among those invited

After failing to kick off in 2017, Kenya Rugby Union have confirmed that the Safari 7s competition will make a return this year, in November at RFUEA Grounds.
The three-day competition will commence on November 9 November and will conclude on Sunday 11 November.
Kenya Rugby Union Acting Chief Executive Officer Sylvia Kamau has revealed that Ireland, Emerging Boks, Wales, Spain Zimbabwe, Uganda Samurai, Apache 7s, University of Johannesburg, Western Province, Golden Lions have been invited for participation.
She has assured fans that the organizing committee is working at its best to ensure traffic, security is well manned and has promised that the 2018 edition will a great experience.
” Safari 7s organizing has set out a process to deliver a great experience. Security is paramount and elaborate measures have been put in place to ensure the fans will be safe and secure. The traffic police will be engaged to man the traffic. The committee has put in place mechanism to ensure powerful entertainment” she said.
Kenya 7s are the defending champions after beat Samurai international 38-21 at Moi Kasarani. The side has nine titles in the competition
