Nakuru boss sees growth after finishing second at Kabeberi 7s

Despite missing out on Kabeberi 7s main Cup title, Nakuru RFC head coach Mitch Ocholla has picked positives from the display shown by his charges in the tournament held in Machakos.
Wanyore finished second after falling 19-7 in the finals played on Sunday and Ocholla believes the side has shown massive growth.
He is happy with the way the side fought against Mwamba and Homeboyz, teams that had done well in the opening two-leg. The coach believes that can at least win a main cup before the season ends.
“I see growth in the team. Homeboyz have been dominant but we fought hard enough because we played Mwamba and played them twice. We are feeling that we have a chance to take any tournament that we go into and that is something to be proud of. We have ticked many boxes which is an improvement.”  he said.
Ahead of Driftwood 7s, Nakuru have been pool alongside BlakBlad, Kisii and Kisumu.
