Why Ayange, Chituyi were recalled for Namibia clash

Kenya Simbas head coach Ian Snook explained the decision to include the trio of Felix Ayange,Dalmus Chituyi and Curtis Lilako in the squad that plays Namibia in an Africa Gold Cup-cum-World Cup qualifying match in Windhoek on Saturday.
The three were missing from Simbas last outing ;a 67-0 thrashing of Tunisia in Nairobi and their inclusion is expected to bolster the side as they chase for a maiden World Cup appearance.
“Dallo is in as we have a 6/2 bench this game. It has been crucial in a couple of other games with fresh forwards coming on late in the game and making a telling difference. We hope this will be the same,” Snook is quoted by KRU.
Biko injury
“Felix is in the team as he can cover many positions and is competent in them all. He is a tough competitor and we know he will be up for the physical battle. Biko who usually fills this role is carrying an injury.”
“Curtis is back in so we can utilize his experience and cool head late in the game.”
The winner of the Namibia-Kenya duel slots in pool B at next year’s global showpiece in Japan where they will face New Zealand,South Africa,Italy and Repechage winners.
The loser heads to a four-team Repechage tournament slated for Novemebr in the French city of Marseille where a last slot is up for grabs against Canada,Hong Kong and Germany.
