St Peters Mumias bounced back from day one disappointments by registering two wins on day two of the Federation of the East African Rugby 7s Games staged at University of Rwanda on Wednesday morning.
Libondo Shimenga Charges beat Ugandan Side Jinja SS 12-3 while their second match saw them beat Rwandan side Aspeka 17-14.
National 7s Champions Lasier Hill ended Chavakali’s fine run by beating them 19-0. The win saw Laiser Hill stay unbeaten after three matches as they had picked two wins on day one. Chavakali had won 8-7 in the opening match of the day against JAM Muhanga.
ASPEKA beat Mbarara High 36-0. Mbarara also fell to Jinja SS 14-5. The 7s action will continue on Thursday.
