EA 15 games: Kakamega revives title chase, Upper Hill extends winning streak

Kakamega High School revived their dream of winning the Federation of East African 15s title games after beating Menengai High 20-15 in the third match of the competition staged in Masanze Rwanda on Wednesday.
The Barbarians needed a win in the third match after they had faltered in the opener.  Amos Wamanga chargers went down 13-12 to Upper Hill in the first clash played on Monday. The Kenyan giants were handed a walkover on day two after Buddo College failed to avail themselves.
Leaders Upper Hill held on to pick the third straight win in the tournament. An unconverted try and a penalty was all the Nairobi based side needed to beat Namilyango 8-6. The win ensure that they stayed unbeaten.
The side’s chase for the East African titles is alive after having won against Kakamega 13-12 and 15-13 against Menengai High. St Mary Kisubi had a walkover after Buddo’s absence.
