Kenya Harlequin youngster lauded

Kenya Harlequins sevens coach Victor Sudi has lauded youngster Mike Ochieng’ labelling him as one of the best young talents at the Ngong Road outfit.
Ochieng’, a Kakamega High School alumnus has cemented his place in the Quins Sevens fold having featured at the Embu 7s as well as the opening two rounds of the ongoing National Sevens Circuit .
“The player is definitely growing in stature.He is one of the young players at the club and one of the best talents we have seen,” Sudi said.
“For us its just encouraging him,giving him more support so that he can continue learning.I look forward to seeing him play the rest of the circuit and represent Quins in more years to come.”
Ochieng’s dazzling perfomance at the Prinsloo 7s saw him voted by his club as the Most Promising player alongside Alex Magoma.
Quins head to the fourth round of the circuit,Kabeberi 7s in Machakos this weekend hoping to improve on their 13th place finish at Eldoret’s Sepetuka 7s.
At Kabeberi,they will feature as an invited team after suffering relegation.They are drawn in pool C against KCB,MMUST and Resolution Kisii.
