EA 15s games: Walkover for Kakamega, second win for Upper hill

Kakamega High were handed a walkover on day two of Federations of East African Secondary School Sports Association (FEASSSA) 15s.
The former Kenyan champions were to tackle Budo who failed to turn up for action. The side will now be eyeing a win on match day three where they face Menengai high.
Kakamega High head coach Amos Wamanga hopes to get a bonus point in the tie to revive their title hopes.
“It was a walk over. Budo college did not show up. We are playing Menengai on Wednesday and a win will be good for us. If we win with a bonus point it rekindles our title hopes,” he told Scrummage.
Meanwhile Upper Hill registered the second win of the tournament after edging Menengai high 15-13. Upperhill had beaten Kakamega 13-12  on Monday.
In another match played at the same venue Ugandan side Namilyango beat their counterparts St Mary’s Kisubi 17-3.
On Day one Menengai pipped St Mary’s Kisubi 17-9 and will be hoping to return to winning ways as they tackle Kakamega.
