Ayange back as Kenya Simbas name squad for Namibia trip

Kabras Sugar winger Felix Ayange has been recalled to the Kenya Simbas team that travels to Windhoek, Namibia for Saturday’s crunch Africa Gold Cup tie against the hosts at the Hage Geinghob stadium. 
Ayange makes the return having missed the side’s last outing; a 67-0 demolition of Tunisia in Nairobi last Saturday. Also making a return to the legion is KCB front row Moses Amusala and Dalmus Chituyi of Homeboyz.
After impressing on his 15s debut last Saturday, Kenya 7s speedster Willy Ambaka has made the cut so have his Kenya Harlequins compatriots Isaac Adimo and Malcolm Onsando.
With this year’s Africa, Gold Cup acting as a qualifying route to the 2019 Rugby World Cup in Japan, Simbas, second on the Africa Gold Cup standings have to beat log leaders Namibia in order to secure qualification to the global showpiece as African champions.
A loss in Windhoek will mean that Ian Snook’s charge finishes second hence going to a four-team Repechage tournament in the French city of Marseille in November where they will battle for the remaining ticket to Japan against Canada, Germany and Hong Kong.
