Kabras coach hints at introducing Kenya 7s half back at Kabeberi

Kabras Sugar coach Edwin Achayo has hinted at  recalling Kenya 7s half back Brian Tanga for the third round of the National Sevens Circuit,Kabeberi slated for the weekend of 18-19 August at the Kenyatta Stadium in Machakos .
The sugar millers will however continue to miss the likes of Philip Wokorach and Felix Ayange who are involved in the Africa Gold Cup .
“We are not going to make a lot of changes despite the conclusion of the Sevens World Cup.We are still going to miss the likes of Wokorach and other guys who play for their national 15s teams because they still have to play in the World Cup qualifiers,” Achayo told Scrummage.
“Maybe if all goes well the only addition we might have is Brian Tanga coming back to the side and hopefully we can exploit some of the experience he has gathered having been with the National Sevens team,” he disclosed.
Tanga, the Most Valuable Player at the 2016 Safari Sevens was part of the Kenya team that participated at the  Sevens World Cup in San Fransisco and consequently missed the opening two rounds in Nakuru and Eldoret.
Kabras’ bid to defend the National Sevens Circuit suffered an early setback as they failed to go past the cup quarter finals at the Prinsloo and Sepetuka tournaments.
Ahead of the third round ,the Kakamega outfit  occupies fifth position on the standings, 21 points adrift log leaders Homeboyz.
