Snook explains Owilah's inclusion in squad for Tunisia clash

Kenya Simbas head coach Ian Snook said that Martin Owilah’s inclusion in the starting XV to face Tunisia this Saturday was as a result of the player’s consistency in training.
The KCB man who made his national 15s debut against Namibia in 2014 has been handed a start at blindside flank,a move that sees Kabras Sugar’s George Nyambua pave way.

“This is a reward for Martin for consistently high levels at trainings and when coming off the bench in previous games. The three selectors. myself, Charles Ngovi and Dominique Habibana all were of the same opinion that he deserved this opportunity,” Snook is quoted by the Kenya Rugby Union.
“It is a strong position in the team as George Nyambua has been playing really well and has been one of our consistently best forwards. However, this is a team of 35, not 15, and we are still sorting out a squad who would be capable of performing well at the World Cup should the team make it that far.”
The Kenya-Tunisia clash scheduled for Nairobi’s RFUEA grounds gets underway at 2:00pm and a win for the home side will put them to within touching distance of log leaders Namibia ahead of the final match day.
