KUSA 7s: Blak Blad eliminates MMUST to win overall circuit

Kenyatta University side Blak Blad have been crowned 2018 overall KUSA 7s winners with a match to play at the ongoing UoN 7s. 
This is after the side sailed into the cup final by beating their closest challengers MMUST 24-14 in the semi finals on Sunday 5 August .
Blak Blad currently on 76 points have a chance to reach 98 points with a win over Strathmore in the final and a loss will see them end the season on 95 points.
Against MMUST, Michael ‘Tank’ Otieno’s charges took a 17-0 lead to the interval courtesy of tries by Mubarak Elkindy and Marshall Mutai who bagged a brace.
They would extend their lead courtesy of Ajeliti Lionel as MMUST were awarded a penalty try before bagging a late converted try.
