MMUST optimistic as KUSA 7s heads to UoN for season finale

Masinde Muliro University of Science and Technology (MMUST) will be hoping to bag the overall Kenya University’s Sports Association 7s title when the 5-legged circuit reaches a thrilling climax at the University of Nairobi on the weekend of 4-5 August 2018.
MMUST, main cup winners at the opening round of the circuit in Nyeri lost to Blak Blad in the Mombasa and Kaimosi finals and will be hoping to beat the Kenyatta University side to the title.
The fourth leg of the circuit held in Njoro on the weekend of 21-22 July 2018 was won by UoN.
“We feature in two tournaments;the National Sevens Circuit as well as KUSA.We head to UoN for the fifth leg before honouring Kabeberi 7s.”
“We are preparing well and we must have our options right,” MMUST coach Dr. Ochieng’ Ahaya told Scrummage.
Ahead of the season finale,Blak Blad lead the standings after two cup triumphs while MMUST is at second position.
