Kabras provide update on Jone Kubu injury

Kabras Sugar coach Edwin Achayo says that injured fullback Jone Kubu has resumed light training after undergoing a second scan on his knee injury.
The Fijian is yet to play for the Kakamega outfit since rejoining them in July 2018 and Achayo admits that his return to fitness will be a boost for the side.
“He had the second review. He has not had the third review yet but he has been training;just some off contact drills and keeping pace with the boys,” Achayo told Scrummage.
“If all goes well he should have his third scan done and we can decide if we shall use him or not. Obviously someone with his talent will be a welcome addition to the side.”
Kabras have had their National Sevens Circuit defence suffer a setback after failing to go past quarter finals at the opening two rounds in Nakuru and Eldoret.
