Western Bulls skipper joins Kenya Cup newbies

Western Bulls skipper Chrispin Shitundo has joined newly promoted Kenya Cup side Menengai Oilers, Scrummage has learnt.
Shitundo, traditionally a lock can as well feature in midfield, having played the larger part of the 2017/18 Championship season as a centre.
The St.Peters Mumias alumnus starred during the 2017 National 7s circuit, making the Dala 7s dream team and was among the top scorers for the Kakamega outfit.
He was consequently nominated for the Player of the year award during the Magharibi Michezo Awards ceremony but was beaten to the gong by Kabras Sugar’s George Nyambua.
His move to Nakuru means that he will make a return to the top flight after spending a season in the KRU Championship following relegation suffered in 2017.
