Prinsloo 7s: KCB youngster named most promising player as Kisii's Marube scoops Div II award

KCB halfback Samuel Asati has been named the most promising player at the opening round of the National 7s Circuit, Prinsloo held at the Nakuru Athletic Club between 21-22 July 2018.
The Kenya U20 player was an integral part of the bankers set up as they reached the cup semi finals, going down 10-5 to beaten finalists Mwamba Rugby Club.
In the second tier, Division two, Alvin Marube of Kisii RFC scooped a similar gong after aiding the Championship side to cup success with a 5-0 win over Egerton Wasps in a fiercely contested final.
The second round of the circuit, Sepetuka 7s takes place on the weekend of 28-29 July at the Eldoret Sports Club.
