Preview:Waratahs Vs Highlanders

Waratahs coach Daryl Gibson has made one change to his side that will take on Highlanders in Sydney.
Can Clark drops to the bench as Alex Newsome gets the nod to start in the right wing.Newsome has been rewarded after his excellent impact off the bench in the recent weeks.
The Waratahs come into this match in high spirits after they hammered Highlanders 41-12 the last time they met in Sydney. The result brought an end to Australia’s 40-game loosing streak against New Zealand super rugby opposition in a game that saw Highlanders wing Tevita Nabura red carded 19 minutes into the game.
On home soil,Waratahs have won four of their last five play off games.Play maker Bernard Foley will look to cause panic in Highlanders defence so as Israel Folau with his superb running lines.Don’t under estimate what Taqele Naiyaravoro is capable of doing in the wing with his powerful running.
The Highlanders head coach Mauger has brought in his big guns ahead of the clash, recalling the likes of Ben Smith,Luke Whitelock,Elliot Dixon,Rob Thompson,Ash Dixon and the nippy half back Aaron Smith who were all rested in their last super rugby round 19 match against the Rebels.
The Highlanders have failed to sparkle since the resumption of super rugby after the June international break. They have suffered defeats in the hands of Crusaders and Chiefs and struggled in Dunedin to beat the Rebels. The Landers history playing in Australia seems to favour them as they have won eight with only loosing two.
It promises to be an entertaining free flowing game of rugby with both teams known to have the soft spot for unstructured play.Angus Gardner will oversee the clash.
