Preview:Hurricanes Vs Chiefs

The Chiefs will play host Hurricanes in the first super rugby quarterfinal game to be staged at Westpac stadium.
The Chiefs will be looking to continue with their fine form this season when they face the Wellington based side,Hurricanes. The two sides will be meeting for the third time this season with Chiefs coming into this clash buoyed by their last week’s 25-13 victory over the Hurricanes.
Captain Brad Shields suffered a rib injury in the last week’s loss and it’s not known if he will be fit to start,if not Reed Prinsep will take up the number 6 shirt.Positional changes will see Jordie Barrett slotted in the midfield,Sean Wainui starting at the right wing forcing Milner-Skudder to drop to fullback.
The Hurricanes form has slipped as they have lost four of their last five games on the road. However,Hurricanes are known to be rampant and ruthless at home as they have won their last nine games in the capital.
The in-form Chiefs on the other hand will be looking to make the first semifinal appearance since 2013.They have recalled enough firepower to carry them home.Damian McKenzie returns at fly half as well as Charlie Ngatai who comes in at the first center and loose forward Sam Cane who returns after suffering concussion. The frontrow has been bolstered by the return of powerful scrummaging prop Karl Tu’inukuafe and hooker Nathan Harris.
The Chiefs have won their last three games against worthy opponents;Highlanders,Brumbies and Hurricanes and will seem to be the favourites coming into this tie.
