Super Rugby: Reds whips Sunwolves as Highlanders, Chiefs win

Chiefs, Reds and Highlanders ended their Super Rugby regular season on a winning note.
Chiefs defeat Hurricanes 28-24
Chiefs managed to defeat Hurricanes in their last match of the season. Brodie Rettalick the team’s captain, Brad Weber, Solomon Alaimalo and Mitchell Karpik both managed to score a try for their team to give Chiefs twenty points. Marty McKenzie converted all tries to add eight more points from the four conversions to secure the twenty-eight points. Hurricanes scored four tries also each from Wes Goosen, Blade Thomson, Ricky Riccitelli and Julian Savea for twenty points. Jordie Barrett managed to convert only two tries for four points summing up to twenty-four.
Reds demolish Sunwolves 48-27
Reds secured victory in their last season match against Sunwolves. Eto Nabuli scored two tries for ten points with other try scorers being Jono Lance,Liam Wright, Taniela Tupou, Duncan Paia’aua and Moses Sorovi each with a try adding twenty-five more points summing to thirty-five. Jono Lance added the rest thirteen points ten points from five conversions and three points from one penalty totalling to forty-eight points. The losers Sunwolves scored a penalty try for seven points and two more tries for ten more points from Ryoto Nakamura and Jaba Bregvadze summing to seventeen points. Hayden Parker added ten points four from two conversions and six from two penalties totalling to twenty-seven points.
Highlanders defeat Rebels 43-37
Highlanders complete this season with a victory over Rebels forty-three to thirty-seven.
Highlander managed to score six tries earning thirty points, Waisake Naholo, Kayne Hammington, Teihorangi Walden, Tevita Li, Greg Pleasants-Tate and Tom Franklin were lucky to score each a try. Lima Sopoaga added the rest thirteen points ten from five conversions and three from one penalty. Rebels reacted by scoring four tries for twenty points, three tries from Reece Hodge and the other try from Amanaki Mafi. Reece Hodge then added fourteen more points eight from four conversions and six from two penalties. Jack Debreczeni then added three more points from a penalty goal totalling to thirty-seven.
