Big win for Crusaders as Brumbies sink Waratahs

Crusaders, Brumbies Lions and Sharks won their final matches of the Super Rugby regular season played on Saturday.
Crusaders defeat Blues 54-17
Crusaders managed a huge victory over Blues earning fifty-four points to seventeen. George Brudge scored three tries while Jack Goodhue scored two tries to earn twenty-five points. Fifteen more points were added from three tries each from Seta Tamanivalu and Sam Whitelock and Bryn Hall summing up to forty points. Richie Mo’unga added eight points to make it forty-eight from four conversions while Mitchell Hunt added the rest six points from three conversions. Blues managed only seventeen points seven from a penalty try and ten from Melani Nanai’s two tries.
Waratahs sink before Brumbies 31-40
Waratahs were unable to secure a win in the eyes of the Brumbies after falling 40-31 points.
Damien Fitzpatrick, Taqele Naiyaravoro,Willie Miller and Brad Wilkin each scored a try to give the Waratahs twenty points. Berbad Foley added the rest eleven points eight from four conversions and three from one penalty. The Brumbies managed six tries for thirty points each from Tom Banks, Richie Arnold, Isi Naisarani, Andrew Muirhead, Kyle Godwin and Lausii Taliauli. Christian Lealiifano added eight more points from four conversions as Wharenui Hawera converted one try for two more points totalling to forty points.
Lions win over Bulls 38-12
Ruan Combrick scored two tries for ten points for the Lions. Malcom Marx, Courtnall Skosan and Aphiwe Dyantyi also scored each a try for fifteen more points to make it twenty-five. They then earned seven other points from a penalty try making it thirty-two points. Elton Jantjies then converted two tries for four points as Andries Coetzee converted one try for another two points totalling two thirty-eight points. Bulls only scored two tries and one conversion for the twelve points. Manie Libbok scored one try and then converted it for a total of seven points. Jesse Kriel then scored their last try for five points.
Sharks defeat Jaguares 20-10
Sharks earned a victory over Jaguares to reach the playoffs. Akker Van der Merwe and Kobus Van Wyk scored two tries for ten points for the Sharks. Robert du Preez then added the rest ten points to make it twenty-four from two conversions and six from two penalty goals. Jaguares managed only one try for five points scored by Sebastian Cancelliere. Diaz Bonilla then scored one penalty goal and one conversion for five more points, to sum up to ten points.
