RWC7s: Kenya 7s coach optimistic

Kenya 7s head coach Innocent Simiyu believes that his side has the quality to put up a good showing at the World Cup scheduled to take place at the AT&T Park in San Fransisco, USA between July 20-22.
Shujaa begin their hunt for the Melrose Cup with a pre-round of 16 clash against Tonga on Friday 20 July.
“We have a very strong squad based on training. The guys have really trained hard and we believe we have selected the best team that can represent the country,”Simiyu is quoted on the Kenya Rugby Union portal.
“We’re looking for good performances from the players and hopefully we can get some good results.”
Should Simiyu’s charges go past Tonga, Scotland awaits in the round of 16.The side departs for the USA on Sunday morning ahead of Friday’s opener.
