Zimbabwe face relegation

Zimbabwe sables are now facing relegation after they succumbed to an 18-14 loss to host Tunisia in the Gold cup encounter in Beja on 8th July 2018.
The sables 2019 IRB Rugby World Cup hopes have vanished as they have failed to win three of their Gold Cup fixtures this year, a home draw with Morocco, loss to Kenya last weekend and  Saturday’s loss to Tunisia has made them lose ground to the leading team in the race for the ticket to the World Cup to be held in Japan.
The team’s misery begun with the squad sleeping on the streets upon arrival in Tunisia earlier in the week. Their match against Tunisia saw them take a  good lead of 7-5, extended the lead to 14-5 but later they allowed Tunisia to comeback and win the match.
The Sables now are in danger of being relegated from the Gold Cup if they finish bottom of the six teams.
