Uganda half back blames poor tackling for Elgon Cup loss

Uganda Rugby Cranes halfback Aaron Ofoyrwoth attributed Saturday’s 38-22 loss to Kenya to poor tackling.
Ofoyrwoth who plies his trade with Kenya Cup side Kenya Harlequins was named man of the match in Saturday’s contest.
“What did’nt work for us as a team is that our tackles were really poor and I promise that when we go back home we shall work on it,”Ofoyrwoth told Scrummage.
“I was not  afraid to face the Kenyan players since I play with most of them regularly.I really wanted to win this game but it did’nt go through.I hope next time we shall make it.”
Uganda’s next Africa Gold Cup fixture is on August 4 2018 when they welcome Tunisia at the Legends Ground in Kampala.
