South African referee for Kenya Simbas v Uganda

South African  Quinton Immelman will be at the centre when Kenya Simbas and Uganda do battle in an Africa Gold Cup cum Elgon Cup second leg clash at the RFUEA Ground on 7 July 2018.
Immelman has experience in Super Rugby officiating having made his debut in the clash pitting Cheetahs against Sunwolves in 2016.
The 37-year old was added to the
Pro14 Elite Referees Panel in 2017 for the 2017/18 Pro14 tournament where he made history by becoming the first ever South African  to officiate in the tournament.
Simbas go into the clash on the backdrop of a 45-36 win over Zimbabwe while Uganda lost 55-6 to Namibia in their last outing.
The Elgon Cup first leg ended 34-16 in favour of Kenya.
Meanwhile, Frenchman Jonathan Dufort will be the whistle-blower when Tunisia welcomes Zimbabwe Sables in Monastir.
