Kenya Cup side Mwamba RFC announced on Wednesday 4 July that they have made changes to their logo.
According to the club’s portal, the change is part of the club wide review
“We commenced a review of all our communications and brand. A full audit and research project was undertaken across the club with the primary objective to deliver an agreed set of values that every member of staff, whether that be in the playing department or elsewhere could be guided by,” Mwamba’s honorary President Alvas Onguru is quoted on the club’s portal.
“This logo looked at the future design of Mwamba Rugby communications and different logos used by the club over the last 40 years,”he added.
He said that the new logo is a master brand that captures the club’s ambitions for the future. The name of the club has been slightly tweaked to drop “football” from RFC to just Mwamba Rugby Club.
“The Mwamba Rugby brand is a key element in terms of the future success of the club and whilst we know for some people it will take a little getting used to, we are really proud of what has been developed and know the changes will support our ambitions for the future,” he stated.
The roll out of the new logo and brand work will be gradually integrated across Mwamba Rugby communications over the next weeks as the club prepares for the new season, starting with 2018 National Sevens Circuit.
