Gold Cup: Kenya Simbas, Zimbabwe commended for thrilling display

Rugby Africa chairman Abdelaziz Bougja labelled Saturday’s Africa Gold Cup clash between Kenya and Zimbabwe as a thriller.
Just when it seemingly looked like the match had been decided in the first half, Zimbabwe rallied from a 16 point half-time deficit to take a 36-33 lead before the pendulum swung yet again in favour of Kenya who bagged two late tries to claim the win.
“What a thrilling encounter it was! I am happy to see such close games, both teams must be commended for their performance today. We saw skills, speed and combativeness on the fields and two teams with amazing athletes,”Bougja is quoted by Rugby Afrique.
Match day four will see Kenya host Uganda at the RFUEA Ground as Tunisia entertains Zimbabwe in Monastir.
