Kenya Simbas coach delighted with maiden win in Morocco

Kenya Simbas coach Ian Snook was delighted with the side’s hard earned 28-24 win over Morocco in an Africa Gold Cup clash staged in Casablanca last Saturday.
The win saw the side settle for second position on the six-team log having played a match less.
“Well obviously we are very smiley at the moment…we were a little bit worried towards the end…obviously we had to play a lot of footie to get in front at the end. It could have gone either way,” Snook said in the post match interview.
“…we are delighted with how it went. Morocco have got big, strong players…they are direct…they are well organized and know what they want to do..we knew what we were here to deal with but on lots of occassions we weren’t good enough to deal with it,” added Snook.
Kenya’s next fixture is a home tie against Zimbabwe Sables on Saturday 30 June at the RFUEA grounds.
