Uganda Rugby Cranes step up preparations ahead of Gold Cup opener

Uganda Rugby Cranes is putting final touches on it’s Africa Gold Cup preparations ahead of their opener away to Namibia at the Hage Geinghob stadium on Saturday 16 June. 
The side conducted a week long training camp in Bloemfontein, South Africa after their planned friendlies against Free State Cheetahs aborted.
“This camp will give us access to the expertise of coaches from the Cheetahs club to put the finishing touches on our preparations,”Uganda coach John Duncan is quoted by Rugby Africa.

“We are eager to get out there and compete against the best in Africa,” he adds.
Saturday’s match starts at 4:30pm and South African Cwengile Jadezweni will be the centre referee.
