Kenya has qualified for the 13th place final at the ongoing Paris 7s after edging out relegated side Russia 26-14 in the semi final staged at the Stade Jean Bouin on Sunday.
With the win, Kenya 7s is set to contest for 13th place with either Scotland or Samoa.
Shujaa led 12-0 at half-time courtesy of tries by Eden Agero and Erick Ombasa.
Augustine Lugonzo would go over for a converted try before two quick touch downs by the Russians brought them to within touching distance of Shujaa.
It was however Kenya who had the final say, Agero sealing his brace in superb fashion to send Kenya to the 13th place final.
