Kenya 7s falls to New Zealand in Paris

Kenya got off her Paris 7s campaign on a sour note after going down 24-5 to New Zealand in the pool A opening clash staged at the Stade Jean Bouin this Saturday 9 June.
Shujaa face series leaders Fiji in their second pool A match at 2:46pm before tackling Samoa at 7:52pm.
Willy Ambaka scored an unconverted try after he was played in by Eden Agero before Dylan Collier responded for the All Blacks 7s with a try to level matters.
A quickly taken penalty allowed Collier to seal his brace but the conversion was unsuccessful as New Zealand took a 10-5 lead.
Kurt Baker’s try between the sticks on the stroke of half-time ensured that Shujaa trailed the New Zealanders 17-5 at the breather.
The one way traffic would continue in the second half, Tim Mikkelson going over under pressure from Jeffery Oluoch to stretch the lead to 24-5.
