All Blacks maul France as Japan stuns Italy

New Zealand came from behind to thrash France 52-11 in an international test match staged at Eden Park in Auckland this Saturday 9 June. 
The Les Bleus were on the verge of stunning the home crowd after taking an 11-8 advantage to half-time courtesy of an unconverted try by Remi Grosso coupled with a brace of penalties from Morgan Parra.
Rieko Ioane (2),Beuden Barret, Codie Taylor, Ben Smith ,Damian McKenzie, Ngani Laumape and Ardie Savea scored tries for the All Blacks with the scintillating Barret booting two penalties and three conversions.
Elsewhere, visiting Italy was handed a rude welcome by Japan, going down 34-17 to the hosts in a clash staged in Oita.
2019 Rugby World Cup hosts Japan scored four tries courtesy of Amanaki Mafi, Kenki Fukuika and Limano Lemeki as Yu Tamura booted two penalties and four conversions.
Italy got their points on board through tries by prop Pasqualli Tizano and Bram Steyn as Tomasso Allan managed a penalty and two conversions.
The sides are set to clash in the second test on Saturday 16 June.
Other international tests slated for Saturday will see Ireland face Australia as South Africa and England do battle.Argentina and Wales will face off in the last match of the day.
