Kenya 7s stages comeback to hold USA in London

Kenya started her London 7s campaign with a 19-19 draw against USA in the pool C opening clash staged at the Twickenham stadium this Saturday 2 June.
Shujaa will be out to bring their campaign back on track when they tackle France at 4:48pm before winding up their preliminaries against hosts England at 8:16pm.
Both sides scored through three tries and two conversions.
Carlin Isles handed the USA a first half lead after beating Nelson Oyoo for pace on the right wing before going over for a converted try.
It was soon 14-0 to the Americans as Iosefu inked his name on the score sheet as he barged over the whitewash between the sticks, the ensuing conversion attempt being successful.
Willy Ambaka cut the deficit for Kenya after a fantastic dummy set him through to touch down for a try that was converted.
Collins Injera fended off a series of challenges to draw the sides  level before Danny Barret restored USA’s advantage almost immediately, powering over for a try that was awarded after consultation with the TMO.
Injera would step up in the final play to save Shujaa from the jaws of defeat.
