KSSSA 7s: Kakamega High, Kivaywa face off in pool D as county games start

The Kakamega County Kenya Secondary Schools Sports Association (KSSSA)  Rugby 7s games get underway today in Mumias with 22 schools battling it out for two tickets to the regional showpiece. 
Former Champions Kakamega High School will start as favourites in pool D in which they are banded with Kivayawa Secondary,Handidi and Ingotse Boys.
St.Peter’s Mumias who will be out to make a statement in the shorter version after failing to reach the 15s nationals in April are in pool B alongside Mwihila Secondary, Lubinu and Kwisero Mixed.
The two finalists will earn qualification to the Western region games with the national showpiece slated for July in Eldoret.
