Kenya off to a flying start at Africa 7s

The Kenya Lionesses started off their Africa Women’s 7s campaign with a 41-0 win over Senegal this Saturday 26 May in Gaborone, Botswana. 
A quick fire brace by Michelle Omondi coupled by one successful conversion sent Lionesses 12-0 up before Grace Adhiambo broke down the left wing to go over for her side’s third try.A successful conversion ensured the Kenyan ladies took a 19-0 lead to the half-time talk.
Second half tries by skipper Philadelphia Olando, debutant Diana Awino and Camilla Cynthia would seal the win for Lionesses.
The Kevin Wambua coached side will face Madagascar in their final pool A clash at 2:20pm and a win could see them sail to Sunday’s quarter finals as the best ranked side.
