Elgon Cup: Uganda boss predicts a competitive duel in Kampala

Uganda Rugby Cranes coach John Duncan admits that Saturday evening’s Elgon Cup first leg tie against Kenya Simbas in Kampala will be closely fought. 
The legends club in Kampala hosts the opening leg of the Elgon Cup for a second successive year with the Simbas having carried the day with a 23-18 scoreline the last time the sides met there.
“We have had great preparations which started late last year. The players are mentally and physically prepared for the task ahead of them and I predict a competitive game as well,Duncan is quoted by Kawowo Sports. 
Seven Uganda Rugby Cranes players could be handed their debuts in Saturday by the South African tactician.
The seven are Kabras Sugar back rower Elohaz Emong, Kobs pair of Ian Munyani and Adrian Kasito, Nathan Bwambale and Edgar Pajob of Black Pirates as well as Olet Simon who turns up for Buffaloes.
The match starts at 4:30pm.
