Kenya Simbas name match day 23 for Kampala trip

The Kenya 15s side, Simbas match day 23 that will face Uganda Cranes in the Elgon Cup first leg on Saturday 26 May at Legends grounds in Kampala has been named. 
In what will be coach Ian Snook’s first assignment,the New Zealander could hand debuts to Kenya U20 skipper Xavier Bett, Homeboyz ace Patrick Ouko, Malcolm Onsando of Kenya Harlequins and Kabras duo of Andrew Chogo and Joseph Odero all who have made the travelling party.
The likes of Darwin Mukidza, Oliver Mang’eni, Oscar Simiyu, Biko Adema, Elkeans Musonye and Samson Onsomu have all been included in the squad.
There is however no place in the squad for skipper Wilson Kopondo.
The match starts at 4:30pm with the return leg that also acts as an Africa Gold Cup qualifier taking place in Nairobi on 7 July.
