Kabras forward Emong to make Uganda debut against Kenya Simbas

Uganda Rugby Cranes coach Robert Seguya has included Kabras Sugar back rower Elphaz Emong in his match day squad that hosts Kenya in the Elgon Cup first leg on Saturday 26 May. 
Emong is in line to make his first 15s international appearance alongside Edgar Pajab, Nathan Bwambale, Paul Sekatte, Simon Olet,Adrian Kasito and Ian Munyani.
Kenyan based quartet of Philip Wokorach,Aaron Ofoyrowth,Marvin Odong and skipper Asuman Mugerwa have all been included in the match day 23.
The Cranes will be hoping to banish the ghosts of 2017 that saw them go down 23-18 in the Elgon Cup first leg.The loss in Kampala would prove costly as the side, then under the tutelage of John Duncan lost 56-51 on aggregate despite forcing a 33-all stalemate in Nairobi.
Saturday’s clash gets underway at 4:30pm.
