Mudariki headlines Zimbabwe squad for Africa Gold Cup duty

The Zimbabwe Sables squad that will do duty at this year’s Africa Gold Cup that serves as a qualifier to the 2019 World Cup in Japan has been named. 
26 year old Scrum half and National 7s skipper Hilton Mudariki headlines the 31-man squad that is currently in camp in South Africa where they are scheduled to play the Vodacom Blue Bulls under 19 side in a build up match on Tuesday 22 May.
The side coached by former Springboks boss Pieter De Villiers will then face an amalgamation of the Bulls senior side and under 21s in another build up clash on Friday 25 May at Loftus Versfeld.
Mudariki who is set to officially make the switch to English championship side Jersey Reds in June is joined in the squad by the likes of Takudzwa Kumadiro and Connor Pritchard.
The Sables Africa Gold Cup campaign starts on 16 June when they host Morocco at the Hartsfield grounds in Bulawayo.
